Suburb House

The project involves adapting a semi-detached house from the 1950s to the needs of a large family. As modern family life no longer takes place strictly in individual rooms, a large shared living space was to be created. To this end, the ground floor was opened up and the attic utilised. The combination of living and play areas creates a feeling of togetherness. On the outside, the house opens up towards the garden with a glass veranda, but remains largely unchanged towards the street in order to preserve its original character.
