Hotel Warszawa
The Hotel Warszawa in Warsaw, Poland's capital, can be seen from over 20 kilometres away. Built between 1931 and 1933, at 66 metres high it was the tallest building in Poland and the second tallest in Europe. Originally built as the headquarters of the English insurance company Prudential, it was designed in the Art Deco style. Severely damaged after the war, it was rebuilt in the 1950s and served as a hotel until 2002. After being renovated by a hotelier family from Krakow, it was reopened at the end of 2018 as a luxurious five-star hotel with 142 rooms and various amenities.
