Community Foundation Wangen am Klösterle

The aim of the Wangen Community Foundation is to show solidarity and use its assets where they bring lasting benefits. The new Am Klösterle residential complex is a particularly successful example of this. The timber-framed building stands on a plot of land purchased by the city near the old town. The apartments are each just under 50 square metres in size. The ground floor has been designed as an inviting communal area, which is available for health promotion activities such as gymnastics, dance or yoga and offers opportunities for socialising. Germany has a shortage of around half a million homes.
