Gateway to the Waterfront

Painted as part of downtown improvements, three murals depict Yonkers history including indigenous peoples, Dutch settlers, an 18th century English village and 19th century industry. EverGreene executed Haas's color maquettes full scale; the source states the Haas murals were painted directly on the surface with Keim mineral paints.
