State Library of South Australia (Mortlock Wing)
The State Library's original building on North Terrace, now the Mortlock Wing (called the Jervois Wing until 1965), was occupied in 1882 and formally opened in December 1884 as the second home of the South Australian Institute. It is a State Heritage Place, and its interior is one of the best-preserved Victorian libraries in Australia.
