Stadium Australia (Telstra Stadium, now Accor Stadium)

Stadium Australia was built for the Sydney 2000 Olympic and Paralympic Games, where it hosted the opening and closing ceremonies and the athletics. Its roof hangs from two large hyperbolic paraboloid trussed arches over the seating bowl. Its original 110,000 seats were reduced to about 80,000 after the Games, and it carried the Telstra Stadium name from 2002 to 2007.
