Silkwood Apartments
Silkwood is a mixed-use building in Surry Hills, on a former disused triangular site at the edge of the city. It has 48 apartments arranged around a courtyard, a 400-seat auditorium, and commercial and retail space, with upper levels mainly in precast concrete. It won the RAIA NSW Chapter Award for housing in 2007.
