Newcastle Court House (former)
The former Newcastle Court House at 9 Church Street was designed by Colonial Architect James Barnet and built 1890-1892, with construction supervised by Walter Liberty Vernon. It closed as a court when the new Newcastle Justice Precinct opened in 2016 and was sold to Nihon University, which converted it into its Newcastle campus.
