Glebe Town Hall
Glebe Town Hall at 160 St Johns Road was designed by Ambrose Thornley Jnr and built in two stages in 1880 and 1891. The City of Sydney commissioned Tonkin Zulaikha Greer to restore it, and it reopened in March 2013; the failed exterior paint was stripped, the render remixed to match the original, and the facade repainted with breathable mineral silicate paint whose texture imitates stone.
