Glebe Incinerator
The Glebe Incinerator on the Blackwattle Bay foreshore at Forsyth Street was designed by Walter Burley Griffin and Eric Nicholls and built in 1933 as a municipal rubbish incinerator. Its sandstone D-shaped end has been restored and the flanking colonnaded sheds were reinterpreted in 2005, making it one of the best-preserved Griffin incinerators.
